Bridging the Digital Divide: Training Rural Students in Computer Basics
Foundation Team
Social Impact Lead
In today's digital world, computer literacy is essential. However, many students in rural communities lack access to computer hardware, limiting their future education and career opportunities. Bridging this digital divide is crucial to ensure equal opportunities.
Establishing Rural Computer Labs
To address this access gap, the Whatsmore Foundation establishes computer laboratories in public schools. We supply hardware, set up internet connections, and train local instructors. This provides students with hands-on experience, helping them learn basic spreadsheets, document editing, and search tools.
Support from Corporate Operations
This initiative is funded by dedicating a portion of our ad network fees from AffiliateHunk. By aligning business performance with social impact, we work to build a more inclusive digital economy.
